ETHIC & PRODUCTION

All pieces embody a seasonless, genderless and sizeless design ethic in every detail and stitch. Pieces are exclusively made by hand in limited quantities, or made-to-order.

Production is done locally in Rotterdam, NL. By operating this way, overproduction of stock can be prevented, and unnecessary waste streams are eliminated to leave as minimal of a footprint as possible. If an item is labelled as a backorder; please allow an additional 2 to 4 weeks for production.

TAKING CARE (LEATHER GOODS)

Every leather hide is unique with minor imperfections and blemishes, contributing to the one-of-a-kind nature of each bag.

To preserve your bag in the best way possible, do a quick cleaning now and again by briskly sweeping your leather bag with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.

Don't use too much water and don't let it absorb into the leather; leather takes time to dry. If your handbag gets very wet, wipe off excess moisture as soon as possible. Do not use cleaning products that contain alcohol, as these will dry out and possibly discolor your bag.

Be sure you're cleaning your bag with clean hands. Leather bags are susceptible to absorbing grease and oil.

TAKING CARE (JEWELLERY)

To preserve your pieces, it is best to store them in a dark place when not wearing them. For general cleaning, it is best to just use a soft, slightly damp cloth.

Sterling silver will oxidize over time, developing a darker patina. For a spotless, bright finish, use silver polish to maintain its original appearance.

For gold-plated pieces, be aware that it will wear off over time due to skin contact, cosmetics, chemicals, and natural skin pH. Treat kindly: limit swimming, bathing, or showering while wearing it, and minimize exposure to heat, moisture, and other chemicals like perfumes.

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

Zone 1 orders are handles by PostNL or DHL. Zone 2,3 and 4 orders are handles by DHL. All zones have the additional option of insured shipping. Please note that additional import, customs, and sales taxes may be added to your country's specific requirements.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at orders@zoedetrez.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
