Zoë Detrez (’93) is a Belgian interdisciplinary designer, with a focus on object, furniture and jewellery design. She holds a MA in jewellery design (MAD, Hasselt, 2016) and an advanced BA in furniture design (VOMO, Mechelen, 2017).
Her practise is mainly focused on the hierarchy of internal constructions, connections and materials. The presented projects revisit these aesthetic and perceptions of how connections are being used within different derrivatives; ranging from furniture, handbags, jewellery and everything inbetween.
